Privacy Policy for EasyPicker Apps

Effective date: 5 September 2026 · FriendPicker addendum: 19 October 2026

This policy explains how EasyPicker, including EasyPDF, EasyTranslate, EasyPdfEditor, EasyCutter, EasyZip, and their related web services, handles information. These productivity apps do not require an EasyPicker account. FriendPicker is a separate account-based app; its practices are described below.

EasyPDF

EasyPDF lets users select, view, create, convert and modify PDF, image and supported document files. Files selected for browser-based or on-device operations are accessed only to perform the requested function. Outputs are saved where the user chooses. EasyPicker does not claim ownership of user files.

The released Android version may include Google Mobile Ads. Depending on configuration, region and consent choices, Google advertising services may process advertising or device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, app interactions and diagnostics under Google's policies. The Google Play Data safety form must match the SDKs in the exact released build.

EasyTranslate

EasyTranslate processes text that users type, paste, scan, photograph or import to provide translation, OCR, English correction, speech and file-saving features. Document parsing and some OCR or translation operations may occur locally in the browser or on the device.

For online translation, grammar correction or speech generation, the text necessary for the selected operation may be transmitted securely to service providers such as Google Cloud Translation, Google Text-to-Speech and LanguageTool. Those providers process submitted content under their own terms and privacy practices. Do not submit confidential or sensitive content unless you are authorized and accept the provider's processing.

EasyPdfEditor

EasyPdfEditor opens PDF files selected by the user and performs PDF rendering, text-position detection, on-device OCR and editing locally on the Android device. The current app does not request Internet permission and does not intentionally upload opened PDFs, detected OCR text or edits to an EasyPicker server. Saved output is created as a new file under the user-controlled device storage.

EasyPdfEditor can replace detected words, add text, highlight, erase, underline, strike, draw, place an image/signature, Undo/Redo edits, export to PDF/Word/JPEG and share a saved file through Android sharing or WhatsApp when available.

Camera, photos and files

Camera scanning, photo OCR and document features access only the photo or file the user selects or captures for that feature. Generated files remain under the user's control. Android system components or the selected text-to-speech engine may process data according to their own policies.

Data sharing and sale

EasyPicker does not sell user documents or translated text. Information is shared with a third-party service only as needed for the feature selected by the user, advertising where present, security, diagnostics, or legal compliance.

Retention and deletion

For the productivity apps described above, EasyPicker does not currently maintain a user-account or developer-controlled user-content database. FriendPicker does maintain server-side account and shared-content records, as explained in its section below. Local files remain until the user deletes them. Online providers may temporarily retain request or diagnostic information according to their policies. See Data & Deletion.

Security

We use reasonable measures and limit processing to what is needed for app functions, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep backups and avoid processing highly sensitive material where inappropriate.

Children

EasyPDF, EasyTranslate, EasyPdfEditor, EasyCutter and EasyZip are general productivity tools and are not directed specifically to children. The Play Console target-audience and advertising declarations must accurately match each released app.

Your choices

You decide which files or text to process. You may decline permissions, clear text, delete saved outputs, clear app data, uninstall the app and use applicable Android or Google privacy controls. A feature may be unavailable if its necessary permission is declined.

Changes

We may update this policy when features, SDKs, permissions or data practices change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.

EasyCutter

EasyCutter processes selected files locally in the browser to split them into numbered pieces or join selected EasyCutter pieces back together. EasyPicker does not need to upload the file contents to its server for this operation. Downloads, folder access and sharing are controlled by the browser/device, and users are responsible for keeping all pieces required to restore a split file.

EasyZip

EasyZip desktop software processes compression, browsing, testing and extraction locally on the user's computer. The EasyZip Online ZIP & Unzip tool also processes selected files locally in the browser using downloaded application code; it does not intentionally upload archive contents or filenames to EasyPicker. Users choose the source and destination and control local deletion. Optional separately installed archive engines operate under their own providers' terms.

FriendPicker

Added 19 October 2026 · Adult test release. FriendPicker uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. It stores the account identifier and your profile on the EasyPicker-operated server. Name, profile photo and city/town are required for setup; birthday, work location, occupation, family details and other profile fields are optional. Google email and phone details are not displayed to group members. Legacy linked phone authentication may remain available to existing accounts.

Groups store memberships, invitations, inviter/requester identifiers and approval status. Invitations shared through WhatsApp or another app use an expiring one-use code. Sharing is initiated by the sender; FriendPicker does not read WhatsApp messages or import a contact book. The recipient accepts and the inviter confirms membership. Pending invitation codes can be stored on the recipient device through sign-in until accepted or dismissed.

Group members can see your name and saved FriendPicker profile photo. In the 20 October 2026 release, new profiles share entered additional fields by default with disclosure during setup. Existing visibility choices for those additional fields are retained; Settings controls place and additional-detail sharing. Phone numbers and authentication credentials are not included in member profiles. Activity posts are visible only to eligible members of the selected groups. Birthday notices have a separate chosen group audience. Add information about others only with permission.

After a location disclosure, your agreement and Android permission, the app sends coordinates, accuracy and update time to groups whose location switch is ON while FriendPicker is open. Group switches initially start ON but do not by themselves grant permission. No background/screen-locked tracking or route history is provided. Turning a group OFF stops local uploads and requests removal from that group when connected. If updates stop, a last-known snapshot may remain visible for up to 24 hours, labelled with its time. Recipient offline caches and previously seen copies cannot be immediately revoked.

Notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging device tokens. Activity notifications may retrieve your shared name/photo and activity details securely from the server. SOS stores alerts and acknowledgements; a location snapshot is included only if separately selected and a fresh fix is available. Delivery is subject to phone settings and internet access. The native Standard map requests OpenStreetMap tiles and may cache viewed map tiles locally; configured Google Maps sends requests to Google. Map markers show names, photos and authorized latest-position timestamps. External directions and Google authentication are subject to those providers’ terms and privacy practices.

Expired activities disappear from feeds and are normally removed after seven days by the running backend. SOS alerts are displayed for 24 hours and expire through backend activity. Latest-position snapshots expire after 24 hours. Profile/account data remains until deletion; invitation history requires operator cleanup. A sign-out does not delete the Firebase identity or server records. The test release has no self-service account deletion. See FriendPicker deletion help and contact jkfutureindia@gmail.com for privacy questions. Backup expiry and final operational retention details are not yet specified for this testing release.

Photos and latest map results can be cached privately on the device; sign-out clears the app’s map cache, but copies already seen by recipients may remain. Declining location or notification permission leaves groups and plans available. This release is for consenting known adult testers (18+); account deletion, abuse reporting and moderation controls remain incomplete.
